So whats up Michael Who?
Nothing, relaxing watching tv. What’s up with you?
Cool. Ahh everythings good man.

Can you give the people a brief description of yourself?
I’m about life, happyness, music, love and expression.

So where you from?
I live in Rancho Cucamunga California. But I was raised in orange county, and born in Los Angelos. My hearts in LA though.
Thats Wassup.

What or who inspires you to make music?
It varies from day to day. Some days ill hear something or some days its my emotions. A lot of times I’ll hear a sample that I just can’t pass up.
Cool.

In your lyrics do you try to deliver a message?
I try evoke emotions and feelings. Try and get people to feel what I feel. cus’ I find it hard to do that with regular dialogue.
So true. We’ve noticed that you produce beats as well.

What do you label your music as?

Yeah, uh I try to stay away from labels. So If I had to label it. I’d call it beyond category.
Totally understandable, labels tend to be a jail cell for music.
Exactly.

So how did you come up with Michael Who as a name?
But my name is basically from high school. I had a really popular sister, and when she graduated. I was a nobody, so if I did something people would be like “you hear what michael did” and they’d be like “michaelwho?” Haha that’s basically it.
Haha, I feel you.

When did you realize that music was for you?
It probably was this summer. When I actually got a response from people to my music. Before I’d make beats and stuff but it was real whack and something I wasn’t. Now my music is 100 percent me and I love that.
Well you got talent my man, We Can Dream was very well put together.

So tell us about the track “We Can Dream”?
Thank you so much for that. It’s basically just a feel good uplifting song. I did the beat, and my friend Evan also known as Evan Holt rapped on it. Its one of the songs on the upcoming ep we have in the works. He killed his verses huh?
The verses were Murdered my friend.lol
I agree haha.

How long does it take for you to Create a beat?
It usually takes like 20-30 minutes top to make a beat. But the longest it’s taken me, was like a week.

So how do you want people to interpret your music?
They can take however they please. As long as they listen and have an honest opinion I’m happy. Just take it easy on me haha

What word best describes you and your music?
Good question… Very hard question at that lol. Michael. That’s the word. Cus’ my music is me.

In the future is the anyone that you would like to do a collab with?
Too many to name. But ill try. Kanye west first of all, yusef lateef, 9th wonder, madlib, mos def, currensy, jay electronica, lupe, devendra banhart, femi kuti, erykah badu, outkast, 50 cent, dr. Dre, too many to name. I probably forgot a whole bunch too. Oh, and tyler the creator. I love his pure emotion.
Nice line up you got there, make it happen bro. Im actually listening to Tyler the Creator right now.haha

Yeah shout out to my family, my friends gabby and vivienne. Cobe obeah, kayce obiese, khris p he helped my music out a lot. Evan holt and everybody out there doing what they love.
